Crazy Week

The past week has been slightly hectic to say the least. We received an offer on our home last Monday and then closed on our new house on Tuesday. Everything is falling into place and I know it is an answer to prayers. I feel extremely blessed. We have been busy trying to move into our new house while completing the many projects we have planned for it. For some reason Clint and I need the consistency of projects in our life. We simply can't move into a brand new home without adding our own touches. To add to the mix I am trying to figure out what in the world I am supposed be doing as a Realtor. I am the listing agent on our home and this is my first official transacation. So if any of you ever need the services of a clueless Realtor- let me know, I will be glad to help.
I have always loved wainscoting. The elegance it adds to a room just draws me in. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who will do anything I ask of him. He agreed to put up this fabulous wainscoting in our new living room for me. Thanks Clint and Rafe for your help.

Painting, painting, always painting. As I mentioned earlier Clint will do any task I ask of him as long as I do the painting. It's a mindless task but I love the results a little bit of paint can give you.

Clint's next project is laying down the hardwood floor in the kitchen/dining area and the living room. He truly can do just about anything. I am grateful for his talents. He has saved us a lot of money over the years.

Congratulations, the market is slow, so it's good your house sold. By the way, if you're trying to drum up business, you may want to choose another catch phrase. "Clueless Realtor" is not inspiring a whole lot of confidence! ;) Good luck with that!

Charisse,

We've decided that you can tell your new ward that you don't need Visiting Teachers, we'll just keep coming. :) You're new house looks great and I guess I'll try to be happy about the old one. :)

Reesers! It is awesome!! Oh my gosh, the wainscotting is beautiful. How did Clint do that, with mouldings? It adds so much, I agree. Are you moving in this weekend? I want to see pics with your furniture all in place, too. I can only imagine how lovely it will be with all your nice touches.
How is the sale of your home going? It will be a lot of work & stress, but it's only 3-4 weeks of your life, then it's OVER! YAY!!!

Your new house looks awesome. Sounds like we do a lot of the same things.......lots of paint, lots of projects, lots of woodwork and customizing. I didn't know you were a realtor! I keep thinking that in another life I should be one too. Heaven knows I always do most of the leg work when we are buying or selling a house! :)
