Quirkiness Revealed

I was tagged to list 6 quirks of mine. I'll be honest, I really gave it some thought. I didn't want to reveal some of my quirks lest you discover how strange I am.

Quirk #1. My Bed. The first thing I do when I wake up is make my bed. I can't leave the house unless it's made. The only exception to not making the bed daily is when I am sick. I also have to change the sheets weekly and must have clean feet to get into bed. I wash my feet every night or change my socks before getting into bed. It drives me crazy if I think they are the slightest bit dirty. Also, if you are in your day clothes and get in between the sheets I can't handle that. Think of the germs you sat in throughout the day and then you are bringing them to the bed.

Quirk #2. I can't stand hair growing on my arms or legs. As a result I shave my legs daily and also my arms every few days. Arm hair doesn't grow back as quickly and arms are really easy to shave. I've been shaving them for about 8 years now.

Quirk #3. I hate buying anything unless it's on sale or I have a coupon. I am constantly checking to make sure I am getting the best deal on whatever it may be. If I purchase something and then a few weeks later find a better deal I calculate the amount of money I could of saved and think about how I can do better.

Quirk #4. My shirts must be hung in my closet on white hangers and grouped by color family.

Quirk #5. I must wash my hands right before eating. If I'm out somewhere and I am unable to wash my hands before eating I play back in my mind everything I have touched and how those germs are going to be on my food. It drives me crazy. Perhaps I am a little obsessive-compulsive.

Quirk #6. I like to scare my husband. I'll hide behind doors or sneak into the house when he thinks I'm gone and then scare him real good. I once scared him so well that at the time he was brushing his teeth and accidently chipped his tooth a bit. Oops.

I would like to tag whomever would enjoy revealing the quirkiness that makes them who they are.

Charisse! You crack me up! I remember the clean socks in a clean bed thing. You've always been concerned with yucky stuff in your bed. I think it is so funny that you like to scare Clint. I do that with Mark, too, but if he did it to me I would be very mad. I hate getting scared.

I'll never forget the night when I got into bed with my jeans on. If looks could kill I would have been murdered. You know what was really disgusting about the whole ordeal?...I rode the bus that day...Germ city! It is a miracle you didn't get a flesh-eating bacteria. Even more disgusting, I do not scrub my feet each night before I get into bed. You would probably throw up if you weren't so concerned about getting puke on your precious bed-spread. I hope you can still find room in your heart to love me somehow.

Um.......don't hate me, but a little compulsive-obsessive? I'm sitting here DYING over Clint's comments. Dying. Is that scare tactic a Wms thing because that's like my dads favorite thing to do....:)

I'm with Angie, Charisse, You are definitely OCD. But hey, who am I to judge. All I can say is, the Wms. genes are peppered with mental disorders. We didn't have a chance. Chris is OCD too. My poor kids are doomed to a life time of counseling and pills...

it must be because we lived in grand junction drank the same water, but the only quirk I don't share with you is the hanger thing and the scaring one....I don't make my bed everymorning but my bed routine is exactly the same, It drives me crazy to not wash sheets every week sometimes I change pillow cases out mid week! My friend Jaina tells me that I might like shopping a little more if I didn't comb through every clearance rack to find what I want!

Wow! I think I'll be afraid to ever sit on your bed lest I give you nightmares and you have to get up in the middle of the night to wash the bed down. ha,ha,ha! Just kidding ya. I hope you and Clint keep a good dental plan and have lots of fun scaring your hubby that is great.

wow, we could never be roomies, that's for sure, good thing Jordan and I are both messy people, but I do have to admit it does feel nice to have clean feet before bed, especially in the summer when all I wear is flip flops!!

I think this is awesome.
I think this tag makes us all feel a little more normal, knowing that really, none of us are.

All I can say Reeese, is I love you! I would probably do the same in my closet, but I am not as knowledgeable as you on color schemes. I think it is great that we all have our little quirks. You are great.
