Beautiful red roses courtesy of my darling husband Clint.
Valentine's Day would not be complete without yummy sugar cookies.
I could not have made these cookies without the help of my great assistant Easton. He was by my side throughout the whole process and ate more icing then I thought humanly possible for a 1 year old.
What is this little hand I see reaching for cookies?
Oh, it's a very upset Easton because he could not reach the cookies. Don't worry- he didn't want the cookies, he just wanted to eat the icing off the top.

haha! Oh what a cute little Easton loving his icing! Happy Valentines day! Beautiful cookies and roses. I made Jordan pink colored crepes with strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast, it was soooo yummy!
We made sugar cookies too. But. Somehow they didn't look as nice. Sigh.
Yeah, those look great, must be your crafty side coming into play. Mom used to do that every year, alas, I am not THAT mom....
Don't you love having a little helper with you during all your baking sessions? I love the decorations on all the cookies, you are such a cutie.
Valumtimes? i made myself a fine Nutella sandwich! it was so grood and tasted of delicate hazelnut chocolate and bread!!!

you're so awesome!
Fun cookies... I hate making sugar cookies! I've actually been looking into teaching a few lessons. Let me know if you are really interested and I'll get you more info.
That little face is sooo sad Charisse! Your cookies look beautiful! Way to go! I had the great thought of making sugar cookies, but somehow they never materialized.....maybe next year! I am looking forward to having a lunch get together with you and Colleen. It should be fun! Take Care Always! Stacey
Okay, here's the post from your stalker (aka Joanna): I'm very impressed at your cookie decorating prowess. It kind of makes me sick that your cookies turned out so well. :)
What a fun story on your courtship. I love to hear how people get together. Easton is really cute!
