Power Saw + Nail Gun + Hardwood Flooring = A Wonderful Time

I think Clint is very sexy when he wears huge safety glasses.

Wow Rafe...that is a lot of hair!

Clint calls this nailing technique the "hang loose"

Next project: transplant some of Rafe's lettuce onto Clint's dome

Five Signs of a Happy Easter

Birds nest cupcakes. A handsome little boy in a darling Easter suit. (Thanks Jen!)

Lots of Easter egg hunts. Enough candy to last the entire year.
Swinging on the tire swing until you can hardly stand up straight when you get out.

Crazy Week

The past week has been slightly hectic to say the least. We received an offer on our home last Monday and then closed on our new house on Tuesday. Everything is falling into place and I know it is an answer to prayers. I feel extremely blessed. We have been busy trying to move into our new house while completing the many projects we have planned for it. For some reason Clint and I need the consistency of projects in our life. We simply can't move into a brand new home without adding our own touches. To add to the mix I am trying to figure out what in the world I am supposed be doing as a Realtor. I am the listing agent on our home and this is my first official transacation. So if any of you ever need the services of a clueless Realtor- let me know, I will be glad to help.
I have always loved wainscoting. The elegance it adds to a room just draws me in. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who will do anything I ask of him. He agreed to put up this fabulous wainscoting in our new living room for me. Thanks Clint and Rafe for your help.

Painting, painting, always painting. As I mentioned earlier Clint will do any task I ask of him as long as I do the painting. It's a mindless task but I love the results a little bit of paint can give you.

Clint's next project is laying down the hardwood floor in the kitchen/dining area and the living room. He truly can do just about anything. I am grateful for his talents. He has saved us a lot of money over the years.

Home 4 Sale

As many of you know, Clint and I are currently in the process of selling our home and moving to our new house in Eagle Mountain. Unfortunately we have not sold our current home yet. It is a small, quaint home with lots of charm. If anyone knows of someone looking for a quaint home- send them our way. The following are a few pictures of our house.

As for our new home, we were planning on closing last week but the lender was not quite prepared and pushed the closing back until tomorrow. I am so excited!!! Once we get all moved in I will post pictures.

I'm Not the Only One

Driving around today I heard my favorite song "Aplogize" by One Republic blaring on the radio. I turned it up to jam out and looked in the back seat only to see Easton waving his arms along to the beat. When the song ended Easton was not quite prepared for it to be over and became very distraught. He started crying his little eyes out and doing baby sign for 'more'. I tried to find another song to listen to but alas, there was nothing that would please Easton quite like One Republic. Later on in the evening, Clint and I were coming home from Mark and Deb's house. Once again we heard "Apologize" and once again the same scenario was acted out with little Easton in tears because the song was over. I guess this means I better go purchase the cd so we don't have a sad man every time we hear the song.
