There he is, Dave Ramsey. His event was not only informative but really funny and motivating.
Last week we had the opportunity to go and watch my little sister Danielle graduate from the same high school I did. I can't wait for her to go out on her own and experience living the awesome college life. She will be attending Utah Valley University, along with my brother Sean who has already been attending.
In ten years' time it looks like my dad's hair got a bit lighter and my mom's hair got a little less poufy. 
We are so proud of you Danielle!!
She is very creative and can whip up any kind of craft project that would rival Martha Stewart . She can sew a prom dress in no time flat. (She does all my sewing projects for me. If only had listened to her when she tried to teach me how to sew when I was younger.) She is always willing to serve others. She is very knowledgable of the scriptures and can teach a great Sunday School lesson. I also think my mom is gorgeous to boot.
I have also been blessed with a great mother-in-law as well. Debra has raised four boys. The three oldest of whom are each only a year apart. After having a son of my own I am in awe at how she managed to do that.
She is one of the most patient people I have met. Not to mention one of the hardest workers. She also makes a very delicious Sunday dinner. I am grateful for the manner in which she has raised her son, my husband, for he is a good man.
We replaced the laminate countertops when we moved in and we'll be putting a new backsplash up as well. One of the many projects still on the list. I think we will put in a beaded board backsplash. What do you think? Also, I would like to get some cabinet door knobs put on as well.
This car has probably been the best thrift store find yet. Easton loves driving in his car and pushing it around as well. It has a long pole in back to make pushing him easy. At the park yesterday a little girl came and got in his car while he was on the playground. Needless to say he was not happy about that and threw a huge fit with screaming and kicking of the feet. He tried to get down from the slide as quickly as he could to rescue his car. After some discussion I managed to convince him the little girl could drive and he could push her around which seemed to work just fine.
Clint and I are officially moved into our new home. Despite the mountain of tumbleweeds we have had to fight off, we love it here! Unpacking is coming along slowly but surely. We also have several projects still in the works. I will post pictures of our home as soon as I have a chance. We just barely got our internet up and running so I have been out of the blog loop for a bit.

I have always loved wainscoting. The elegance it adds to a room just draws me in. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who will do anything I ask of him. He agreed to put up this fabulous wainscoting in our new living room for me. Thanks Clint and Rafe for your help. 
Painting, painting, always painting. As I mentioned earlier Clint will do any task I ask of him as long as I do the painting. It's a mindless task but I love the results a little bit of paint can give you.
Clint's next project is laying down the hardwood floor in the kitchen/dining area and the living room. He truly can do just about anything. I am grateful for his talents. He has saved us a lot of money over the years.
